As a caregiver for a family-owned home health agency, your job duties will vary depending on the needs of each individual client. However, some common responsibilities that you may be expected to perform include:

1.) Providing personal care: You may be responsible for helping clients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. This may also include assistance with mobility, such as transferring or using a wheelchair.

2.) Administering medication: Some clients may require assistance with medication management, such as reminding them to take their medications, organizing their medications, and administering medication as prescribed.

3.) Providing companionship: As a caregiver, you may be responsible for providing social and emotional support to clients, such as engaging in conversation, playing games, or participating in activities.

4.) Performing light housekeeping: You may be responsible for light housekeeping duties, such as tidying up the client's living space, doing laundry, or preparing meals.
