Care Plan/Psychotropic nurse Job at Pavilion of Bridgeview
The Care Plan/Psychotropic nurse is to coordinate all required resident care plans while encompassing person centered care. The coordinator supervises care plans to ensure they are completed in a timely manner and reflect the individual resident. The Care Plan/ Psychotropic nurse also coordinates psychotropic drug use within the facility with the psychiatrist. The coordinator also ensures that psychotropic drug consents are completed along with care plans reflecting the resident’s target behavior. The coordinator finally assists the psychiatrist with information for management of the gradual dose reductions of psychotropic medications. Working within the framework of the policies and procedures of the facility the coordinator maintains compliance with all state, federal and local regulatory laws, standards and protocols.
