We Need Your Talents! –

The G1 Group is a growing automotive group recruiting a motivated Sales Manager. The successful candidate must be driven to succeed and is someone with experience in automotive dealership management. Must be dedicated and able to recruit the sales personnel to reach store potential. Successful candidate will use their organizational and time management skills in all aspects of the sales department. Must have the experience to motivate and the ability to manage a large inventory and be a team player. The successful candidate believes in our mission and shares our core values.

RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Meet & exceed monthly Sales and FI goals set by management.
  • Train, lead, manage, track and motivate your team.
  • Recruit, interview, and hire sales professionals.
  • Assist individual salespeople in setting aggressive yet realistic monthly goals and objectives.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor a follow-up system for used vehicle purchases.
  • Hold or participate in sales training meetings.
  • Ensure that salespeople are informed of all new inventory and current advertising efforts, including special sales.
  • Responsible for appraising, reconditioning, displaying, wholesaling, and merchandising the product.
  • Work with sales team to offer finance and insurance products to best protect the customer’s assets.
  • Create and maintain good working relationships with financial institutions.
  • Process financing and leasing deals accurately and secure approval through financial institutions and through proper corporate, local, state and federal channels.
  • Understand and comply with local, state and federal regulations that affect the new and used vehicle finance department.
  • Other responsibilities assigned by Supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong motivation and coaching skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Dealership experience - REQUIRED
  • Ability to manage detail-oriented processes
  • Excellent computer skills and very detail oriented
  • Ability to achieve sales goals with high customer satisfaction ratings
  • Ability to work well with customers, co-workers, and lending institutions
  • Highest ethical standards
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Clean Driving Record

COMPENSATION:

Very competitive pay based on experience. Typical range is $70,000 - $100,000+ per year
