CAD Technician/AutoCAD Technician/Design Technician
This position is a remote position with 30%-50% local site work in the Fort Wayne, IN area. This position provides career growth opportunities as well as half days on Fridays.
This is a Direct Hire position with a pay range of $19/hr. - $22/hr. Depending on experience.
What you will be responsible for:
As a Design Technician, you will be responsible for GPS surveying, overhead/underground line locating inspection testing, and documentation of power distribution. In addition, you will complete design tasks for utility design projects utilizing AutoCAD/CAD.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma, is required.
- Certificate in CAD/AutoCAD preferred.
- 1+ years experience utilizing AutoCAD/CAD
- Reliable transportation.
- Mechanical aptitude, ability to embrace design.
- Self-motivated - ability to work autonomously and push through individual design tasks.
