CAD Drafter Job at Star Crane and Hoist
Overview
Creating approval and fabrication drawings for structural steel cranes and custom lifting devices, working closely with sales and manufacturing. This position will require the Drafter to have knowledge of computer aided design software, strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently as well as in groups.
Responsibilities:
- Use software to produce technical drawings and engineering designs.
- Know how to use the software required for the job.
- Create diagrams of complex devices.
- Resolve issues with a product or the manufacturing process.
- Communicate design and technical issues.
Requirements
- General fabrication drafting/drawing knowledge required.
- Two or four year drafting/design degree.
- Two or more years of AudoCAD experience is required.
- Solidworks/3D knowledge not required but beneficial
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour
