Job Summary

Provides information systems planning and support of UTA’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system (JD Edwards), and systems/interfaces with the ERP system (such as DSI, , Laserfiche, etc.) for multiple UTA departments. Performs project management activities associated with design and implementation of these systems and associated technologies. Works with peers within I.T. to support development, implementation, maintenance, and integrity of data and processes within the ERP and other major systems. Manages systems in support of company and department objectives, and other information needs such as maintaining systems software and workflows, recommending and auditing application security, authorizing access and access flows, and writing standard/custom reports. Develops simple to moderately complex workflows and applications and systems using C#, Groovy, JRuby, or related programming languages. Develops reports using Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). Assists JDE Developers in data quality reviews and provides recommendations as needed. Maintains confidential information in accordance with state and federal laws and regulations. Assist in designing/testing interfaces between systems as needed. Develops strategies to maximize efficiencies and minimize cost of related processes across all of UTA through technology applications and initiatives. Provides training on understanding functions and using the ERP system and related applications and systems.

EDUCATION/TRAINING
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
    • Classwork in current technologies in the area of data management or ERP systems administration and major ERP Integration Software systems administration preferred.
EXPERIENCE
  • Five years in ERP application support, technical operations, technical product support, and/or operations.
  • Preferred completion of 3 or more ERP (Oracle), Record Management (Cities Digital), or equivalent application certifications.
  • Experience in one or more of the following: maintenance, supply chain, HRIS, accounting, etc. support information systems and system administration; specific ERP and major ERP Integration
  • Software experience preferred, including DSI System or Laserfiche Administration. Experience conducting workflow analysis, designing business systems, evaluating system changes and vendor management/package selection.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Must have a minimum of one year development education and one year of professional development experience in the following areas: C#, MS Reporting Services (SSRS) report writing.
  • Must have a minimum of one year development experience with Workflows, such as Orchestrations, and their related scripting languages (Groovy and / or JRuby).
  • Must have developed simple to moderately complex software programs, workflows, or integrations from customer specs to user sign-off.
  • Strong communication skills as well as demonstrated analytical, problem solving, and technical skills.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint at the intermediate level.
  • Familiar with SQL and related scripting languages.
  • Familiar with current report writing tools and business intelligence software and methodologies.
  • Experience with JD Edwards, DSI, or Laserfiche preferred.
This job requires regular and predictable attendance

Must be able to pass BCI, FBI, and UCJIS background check.

Pay Rate: Starting at $87,500 - 95,000 based upon experience
