Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Business Office Assistant to join our Prairie Vista Village team! This position provides assistance to the Business Office with processing and data entry of financials, as well as support to the Human Resources Director with miscellaneous organizational and departmental tasks.


Responsibilities:

  • Assists the Business Office Manager with collection of all accounts receivable items and utilizes data entry for recording purposes.
  • Accurately codes and verifies goods and services rendered.
  • Ensures all invoices are properly approved, copied for record purposes, and are batched/sent to accounting firm in a timely manner.
  • Scans and files all appropriate paperwork to their designated locations.
  • Inputs resident financial information within the billing system and maintains accurate and complete financial data for each of the residents, both with the computer system and a hard copy resident file.

  • Maintains confidential resident and facility financial files.
  • Assists the Human Resources Director with prepping the new hire onboarding process.
  • Maintains confidential employee files, hard copy and electronic, within the HR filing system.
  • Demonstrates the ability to set and establish priorities
  • Manages time efficiently with various deadlines

Qualifications: Post-secondary education and/or a minimum of 2 years broad Business Office experience. Accounts payable and Accounts Receivable experience is required. Knowledge of basic bookkeeping principles, computer literacy skills (Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office, and Internet), and data entry are preferred. 1-3 years of professional experience and /or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
