Job Description
We are a new Early Childhood Education Center in Urbandale Iowa, and we are looking to fill our team with teachers who are passionate about caring for and educating children. Kiddie Academy of Urbandale opened May of 2022 and we are looking to fill our team with talented teachers that will become a part of the Kiddie Academy Family. As a team we can make the center a great learning environment for the children and a great work environment for the teachers! The building float position would be familiar with all of the classrooms and be able to fill in whenever needed in particular rooms.
Responsibilities
The main responsibilities of all teachers will be the care, safety, and education of the children in in our academy. This position would help throughout the building in all classrooms and in the office. We are looking for someone who is able to fill in for office staff on days off and help with other administrative duties throughout the week. This position would also help fill in in the classrooms as needed as well to cover breaks, days off, and planning time.
Skills
- Proven experience as a child care provider
- Thorough knowledge of teaching best practices partnered with a willingness to follow the school’s policies and procedures
- Excellent communicability and interpersonal skills
- Well-organized and committed
- Creative and energetic
- Strong moral values and discipline
- CPR and First Aid Certified will be required upon starting
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
