Aon Risk Services, Inc. of Maryland, an Aon Corporation company, seeks a Broker II in Chicago, Illinois to perform commercial broking services. Provide broking services for global insurance accounts including placement and service.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate risk financing solutions for global insurance programs. Train global account service teams.
  • Create international risk management service plans. Design and service alternative risk financing structures.
  • Negotiate global insurance programs for international insurance markets including International Casualty, International Automobile Liability, and related business.
  • Confer with internal and external commercial finance/insurance stakeholders, including Account Executives, Specialty Brokers, and Producers to provide broking services.
  • Provide risk pool and risk management expertise in due diligence services in corporate transactions. Implement risk management efforts including pricing tools and techniques and provide that risk data to management.
  • Analyze and maintain regional commercial insurance sales plans and budgets. Drive and maintain compliance with standards to ensure risk mitigation.
  • Advise on insurance placement design, available coverage and capacity, pricing, potential coverage enhancements, and service requirements of multinational insurance programs.
  • Keep abreast of market trends, pricing practices, and other underwriting policies to communicate to clients and coordinating offices.

You Bring Knowledge and Expertise

Required Education and Experience:
Must have twelve years of progressive experience in providing commercial insurance broking services.
As part of the twelve years, must have at least five years of experience in each of the following:
  • Negotiating risk financing solutions for global insurance programs;
  • Training global account service teams;
  • Negotiating global insurance programs for international insurance markets including International Casualty and International Automobile Liability;
  • Providing risk pool and risk management expertise in due diligence services in corporate transactions;
  • Analyzing and maintaining commercial insurance sales plans and budgets;
  • Driving and maintaining compliance with standards to ensure risk mitigation; and
  • Advising on insurance placement design, available coverage and capacity, pricing, potential coverage enhancements, and service requirements of multinational insurance programs.
