Breakfast Hostess/Housekeeping Job at La Quinta Inns & Suites
Breakfast Attendant will maintain a positive and respectful relationship with team members, engage with guests in a professional, dignified manner. You should also be able to address customers' queries and complaints in a timely manner. You will perform opening duties to prepare for service and closing duties at the end of your shift.
Responsibilities:
- Assembling and disassembling breakfast buffets
- Ensuring that the buffet remains well-stocked at all times
- maintaining clean premises
- Greeting guests and clearing tables
- Sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping the floors after service.
- Cleaning and sanitizing tables and countertops after service.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Sound knowledge of food safety guidelines
- Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding people skills
- Ability to work extended hours and weekends
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Proficient time-management skills
Skills & Qualifications:
- Excellent working knowledge of cleaning appliances and their operations and proper use of cleaning agents
- Attention to detail
- Physical strength and stamina to work extended periods
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
