Your Role and Responsibilities

The Brand Marketing team within IBM Marketing is seeking an Brand Manager responsible for developing and managing awareness and considerations level advertising assets for the brand in partnership with our agency partners and internal stakeholders.
This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams and markets to develop testing plans of global creative assets to ensure the messages communicate key points, resonate with target audiences and meet company-wide business and marketing objectives. The role is also responsible for developing, managing the creative rotation across all US media channels and communicating adjustments and strategies to key members of the global brand team.
The role will have opportunity to work on the development of end to end campaign creative assets and processes.The role needs to have an intimate understanding of testing methodologies, our target audiences and offerings, and experience applying data to create insight and strategy. This will require working closely with MI, product and messaging subject matters experts to ensure we are developing the appropriate testing methodologies and deploying our content strategically.
In addition, a solid understanding or interest in the advertising industry, rich storytelling techniques and agency management will enable this role to raise the creative bar and drive positive perception for the IBM brand.Other responsibilities may include:
- Partner closely with MI, brand, product marketing, sales, communications and other cross-functional teams
- Lead the development of creative and go to market testing plans
- Define the creative rotation across all US media channels
- Identify and communicate actionable insights based on testing results

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- 7+ years experience in marketing research
- Growth mindset with an appetite to experiment, fail fast in the spirit of ongoing learning and improvement
- Experience in research, analytics and developing insights from multiple data sets
- Ability to problem solve, pivot and provide transparent communication in a fast-paced work environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with rigor around attention to detail
- Extremely strong organizational skills
- Intellectual curiosity and the desire to learn technical topics
- Collaborative, team player mentality with a passion for process improvement
- Ability to translate feedback across stakeholders into directional guidance for agency partners
- Ability to foster collaborative, long-term thinking that drives unification across multiple stakeholder groups.

- Experience working with highly matrixed organizations
- Experience managing global campaigns
- Experience working with tools - Airtable and Adove Workfront

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
