Blue Suede is looking for an experienced Boutique Sales Associate who wants to join our team and has a mission to ensure every guest has a memorable experience and looks forward to coming back!

Recent recipients of Austin Monthly's Best of ATX, Best Footwear Mecca, we offer a unique experience: Part Wine Bar, Part Shoe Boutique and a place to unwind with friends, all under one roof. Our curated assortment of shoes is like no other in Austin and we have a thoughtful menu of local snacks and drinks, including our popular Charcuterie Board made with cheeses from local favorite, Antonelli's.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, this position would be ideal for someone looking to partner, collaborate and help build the brand and experience. As a member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to showcase your exceptional customer service skills, fashion expertise, and sales ability while contributing to a brand that supports and empowers women.

Core Role Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and assistance when needed.
• Use your fashion expertise to provide personalized recommendations and styling advice.
• Manage inventory, restock merchandise, and maintain the appearance of the boutique.
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently using our POS system.
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
• Actively participate in training and development opportunities to expand your knowledge of the brand and products.
• Serve wine/beer, prep cheese boards, snacks, etc.
• Maintaining boutique and kitchen cleanliness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous retail experience beneficial, but not required
• Strong skills in problem-solving, guest relations and verbal and written communication
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
• Must be a team player and willing to contribute to a positive work environment
