CUMULUS MEDIA - CHARLESTON is seeking a Digital (BOOST) Sales Specialist. This is an outside sales position that will be responsible driving digital advertising revenues through our new Cumulus Boost offering. Cumulus Boost provides local businesses with an integrated solution for managing their digital presence. This person will help to develop a newly created and integral position within our company. They will be driven to understand our full suite of digital offerings and possess the ability to create and present clients with tailored digital marketing solutions. The role’s primarily focus is to maximize revenue opportunities through our suite of Cumulus Boost offerings such as reputation management, directory assistance, and basic SEO. This is a multi-faceted role that will reward sellers who are able to strategically prospect for business, engage decision makers, develop results oriented digital campaigns, and manage client relationships through a partnered approach.

Cumulus | Charleston, SC currently features 5 stations in Charleston and surrounding counties. Our stations include: 93.1 WWWZ Urban , 95.1 WSSX – CHR, 107.3 WMGL – Urban AC, 96.9 WIWF – Classic Hits and 1250 AM WTMA - Talk. Plus, a vast array of SEM, SEO and Social Media digital assets. The cluster of 5 stations reaches thousands of listeners on a daily basis.

Responsibilities:

• Develop a thorough understanding of our Cumulus Boost offering
• Network to build relationships in the community
• Strategically prospect and engage new client conversations
• Consult with clients to sell Cumulus Boost programs that will achieve their goals
• Deliver thoughtful and creative sales presentations that engage clients
• Manage the fulfillment of client campaigns and provide world class customer support
• Be a part of the local community and be in the know as changes occur
• Utilize company systems (i.e. billing, CRM, Prospecting Tools, Reporting Dashboards, etc)

Qualifications:

• Digitally savvy
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, social networking platforms and CRM tools
• Experience developing new business relationships in an outside sales role
• Self-starter able to work independently and within a collaborative team based environment
• Possess an understanding of current digital advertising solutions
• 3+ years in digital advertising sales preferred
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or related field is preferred
