ABOUT THE COMPANY

Bower Management, Inc. is a small office that has been in business for over 40 years. We handle Bookkeeping services for fast food restaurants. We strive to find an office manager/bookkeeper with the ability to multi-task and who is highly motivated to join our team. The ideal candidate will have the adaptability that we need as well as being flexible to handle anything that may come their way.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

  • Managing everyday account payables and account receivables and other data entry into checkbook and QuickBooks
  • Executing other related duties and partaking in special projects as assigned
  • Making sure that accounts in QuickBooks and general ledger balance
  • Analyzing and adjusting account discrepancies
  • Basic Bookkeeping experience desired
  • The ability to work independently as well as being a team player with the flexibility and willingness to learn and to take initiative on variety of tasks and projects
  • Ability to effectively interact, verbally and in writing
  • Understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel (PivotTables) is preferred
  • Oversee all administrative duties in the office and ensure the office is operating smoothly
  • Perform daily clerical and accounting duties
  • Maintain accurate filing, reporting in multiple computer systems
  • Understand the basics of Unemployment Compensation, filing out forms and using the Unemployment Portal
  • Comply with Federal, State, and Local regulations and employment laws
  • Maintain good work relationships with Co-Workers, Managers and Owners

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1+ years of QuickBooks experience
  • 1+ years of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • 1+ years of Clerical experience
  • 1 – 3 years of Bookkeeping or Office Management Role experience
  • Strong Management Skills
  • Strong ability to multi-task
  • ABILITY TO HANDLE CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION IS A MUST

EDUCATION

  • High School or Some College Credits

ABILITY TO COMMUTE

  • Kingston, PA : Candidate must have own transportation to perform office errands

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
