Cahoon Care Associates, LLC is a family-owned and operated home care agency based in Norwell, MA with branches in Sandwich, MA, and Ellsworth, ME. Join the Cahoon Care team as we enter a very exciting period and launch a sister company to enhance our breadth of services with a technology-based monitoring system. This newly created part-time Bookkeeper position is work from office (Norwell, MA) for 16 to 24 hours per week during normal business days and hours. Mothers’ hours preferred.

Bookkeeper Responsibilities:

  • Generate monthly financial statements
  • Year-end financials and tax documents
  • Prepare client invoices
  • Monitor and report outstanding balances
  • Address client billing questions
  • Prepare AP and AR reports
  • Collections
  • Bank Reconciliation
  • Credit Card Reconciliation
  • Payroll
  • Manage 401K
  • Annual Worker's Compensation Audits
  • Annual filing of company registration with State Department
  • Manage financials for both business units
  • Address customer billing questions
  • Maintain contracts, agreements, documents, etc.

Bookkeeper Qualifications and Skills:

  • 2 years experience in similar role
  • Proficient with QuickBooks - 2 years experience
  • Comfortable working independently and in team environment
  • Self-starter with an ability to prioritize
