The primary function of the Frame & Alignment Professional is to perform any required frame and chassis repairs to trucks. This includes frame straightening and repair, suspension work, front and rear-end alignment, and replacement of chassis-related parts.

- Operates and maintains all frame and alignment equipment.
- Inspects frame for severity of damage.
- Removes any necessary parts.
- Uses frame-straightening beam to make repairs.
- Re-checks alignment using plum-bob.
- Reassembles truck.
- Makes repairs on steering components and all suspension components.
- Makes any necessary alignment repairs, replacing appropriate parts.
- Verifies alignment is correct.
- Repairs or replaces airbags, bushings, etc., in order to complete overhaul of suspension as needed.
- Maintains a clean work area and discards used parts.
- Discards hazardous material in proper place.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
- Minimum High school diploma or the equivalent.
- Minimum three years of experience with frame and chassis repairs.
- Good mechanical aptitude.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to interpret vendor catalogs.
- Professional personal appearance.
- Computer and technology proficient.
