No experience necessary. Cannot be scared of heights, or tight, dark spaces. Must be able to climb up and down a ladder going inside a tanker car. Must be able to hold and carry 30lb hose.

$750 Bonus after working for 150 days!

SUMMARY

Set up rail cars to be blasted, operates advanced equipment to blast the interior and/or exterior of manufactured rail cars and repairs poor blast work. Pulls and scotches rail cars, as required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
* Connects railcars to rabbit device to pull railcars into automatic blast equipment.
* Operates advanced automatic blast machine to blast exteriors and/or interiors of railcars.
* Suits up on hood, coveralls, and gloves to perform touch up hand blasting of railcars after the automatic blasting.
* Pulls and scotches rail cars as required.
* Trouble shoots, maintains, and cleans blast equipment.
* Ensures that safety and housekeeping standards are met and maintained.
* Performs other duties as directed by the Paint Group Leader (Blast).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
