Biological Technician

We are pleased to recruit for a company whose corporate purpose is to create chemistry for a sustainable future and has been doing so for 150 years. Our client is expanding and seeking a Biological Technicianin Research Triangle Park, NC.

Responsibilities:

· Responsible for rearing insects and maintaining plants in a greenhouse.

· Rearing responsibilities include preparing rearing materials, transferring and collecting insects, filling in data forms, and cleaning reusable materials.

· Greenhouse responsibilities involve filling pots, seeding, watering, monitoring plant pests, and discarding unused plant material.

Requirements:

· Experience working with insects and/or caring for plants in a greenhouse environment is preferred.

· There will be some overtime based on a weekend rotation and holidays.

Education: High School Diploma

Location: Research Triangle Park, NC 27709

Pay Rate: The pay range for this position is $20.00 – 21.00 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.

Work Schedule: 8 AM to 5 PM, Mon - Fri. There is some flexibility to start and end times.

Length of Assignment:Contract - hire
