Opportunity Overview:
Billing Specialist (9 - 12 month contract) supporting BHI Energy in Weymouth, MA.
WECTEC Staffing has an exciting opportunity for a Billing Specialist supporting BHI Energy in the Weymouth, MA office. This is a 9 - 12 month contract opportunity with a focus on financial data in the billing department.
What your day-to-day looks like:
- Prepare invoices in accordance with customer requirements
- Identify inconsistencies between billing, payroll, and A/P data
- Interface with payroll, A/P, operations, and contracts to address internal discrepancies
- Reconcile customer generated payments with expected amounts based on internal billing data
- Manage and track incoming payments
- Work with customers to resolve past due amounts
- Answer customer’s questions and address problems
What we need to see from you:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar position is preferred
- Strong MS Excel skills necessary.
- Great Plains experience helpful.
- Detail oriented with a focus on numbers and financial data.
- The ability to work independently in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Some overtime may be necessary during peak business times.
