Job Summary:

The Bilingual Japanese Administrative Assistant will support two executives in the Burbank office. This position also supports team initiatives across the business units located in the Burbank office. The role serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies on all matters pertaining to the business units based out of Sega of America’s office in Burbank, CA.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manages and maintains executive schedules, including scheduling travel and conferences, making appointments, and arranging meetings and events.
  • Prepares and submits expense reports for the executives.
  • Welcomes guests and customers by greeting them, in person or on the telephone, answering or directing inquiries.
  • Prepares executive responses to routine memos, letters, or correspondence.
  • Develops and manages paper and electronic filing systems, recording information, updating paperwork, and providing retrieval of information.
  • Works closely with other executives and administrative assistants at the Irvine office and affiliate companies located overseas.
  • Executes special projects by assigning work and providing direction to others as requested.
  • Interacts with internal and external peers and/or managers to exchange complex information related to assigned activities.
  • Any other administrative tasks related to the above.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in mid- to senior-level administrative support role
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Sufficient knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • Bilingual in English and Japanese
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to stay calm and on-task in high-stress situations
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload
  • High-level verbal and written communications skills
  • Discretion with personal and confidential information
