Bilingual Human Resources Specialist - Recruiting Focus Job at Midway Staffing, Inc.
Midway Staffing is looking for our next Human Resources Specialist! The HR Specialist is responsible for full-cycle recruitment and onboarding efforts to fill open internal positions at our Midway Staffing locations. This role is an integral member of our Human Resources team and supports employee engagement. The position reports to the HR Manager and is located on-site at our Hillside, IL office.
**$1,000 Sign-On Bonus**
What you'll do:
- Manage the full life cycle recruitment process for internal positions, including developing and editing job descriptions, posting roles on various sites, sourcing candidates, coordination of interview scheduling with Midway Staffing team and candidates, and extending offer letters to candidates.
- Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Utilize and maintain ATS system and database to source, process candidates and track applicant activity from application to hire.
- Support all functions and processes related to on-boarding of employees, including pre-hire process, orientation and new hire experience, ensuring compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations and Company policy.
- Partners with Midway Staffing’s hiring managers to determine current and future recruitment needs. Analyze existing talent acquisition procedures and develop new, more efficient and streamlined methods of finding great candidates through various sources.
- Track and report all recruitment productivity.
- Plan and facilitate hiring events to attract and increase applicant flow.
- Assists the HR team with developing and implementing employee engagement and recognition programs, company newsletter and employee swag.
- Respond to voice messages, reference checks and verifications of employment.
- Provide exceptional customer service to employees and colleagues through accurate and timely responses to in person, phone or email inquiries and requests.
What you'll need to be successful in this role:
- Bi-Lingual in English and Spanish is required
- 2-4 years of experience in Human Resources, Recruiting and/or Talent Acquisition.
- Prior experience with Paycor or HRIS/ATS system preferred
- SHRM-CP credential preferred
- Required to travel 5% of the time to Midway Staffing Branches for hiring events.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
