Your Role
Benefit Specialist
Work Location: In-Office at 4754 Bennett Dr., Suite A, Livermore, CA 94551. May consider shifting to hybrid: Four days in the office, one day work from home
Working Hours: Flexible
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday
Compensation: $23.00 per hour
As a Benefit Specialist with us, you'll assist with our Open Enrollment and other benefit related tasks. This opening is a full-time, direct hire for 4 to 6 months in duration with possibility of indefinite extension

Your Role
Benefit Specialist

What You’ll Be Doing
Essential Functions
- Helps employees understand benefits by answering questions
- Following up with affected employees during leaves of absence
- Sorting and organizing benefit documents
- Helping with invoices
- Interprets related policies and procedures
- Ensures regulatory agency compliance
- Creates communication materials including presentations and information packages
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of experience in human resources
- Customer service background
- Ability to handle confidential employee information with discretion and good judgment
- Knowledge of benefits, invoicing, and business administration
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Excellent verbal, oral, and written communication skills
- Able to work quickly, accurately, and independently
- Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures
- Proven ability to independently manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong analytical and project management skills
- Ability to translate and analyze data into reports
- Bilingual English/Spanish
