Hope Community Resources is a non-profit organization providing community supports to hundreds of individuals and families who experience intellectual and developmental disabilities, traumatic brain injury and mental health challenges. As our Intensive Supports Home Alliance Coordinator (ISHAC), you will manage an assisted living home for 3-4 support recipients. Everyday we'll rely on you to supervise other staff working in the home, coordinate the care of your support recipients, and ensure compliance requirements. To thrive in this role, you should have experience providing personal care and extensive knowledge and experience working with challenging behaviors, de-escalation methods, and demonstrable knowledge of positive psychology, behavior support plans, and prescribed mental health coping strategies.

This position works 16-hour days and has every other weekend off. Housing is provided.


Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Human Services, Health or Social Science, Special Education or other related field; and
  • Two years of directly related experience supporting individuals that demonstrate challenging and/or aggressive behaviors and require intensive supports that may include continual heightened vigilance in supervision and monitoring, formalized behavior management strategies, and/or verbal and physical de-escalation techniques. One year supervisory or administrative experience strongly preferred; or
  • Equivalent combination of related education and/or work experience.
