As one of the nation’s leading long-term mental health facilities, Rose Hill Center in Holly, Michigan offers comprehensive psychiatric treatment and residential rehabilitation services for adults, 18 and over, on 400 peaceful and serene acres. We combine our healing, pastoral environment with caring and experienced staff, effective therapeutic modalities including group and individual therapy, and responsible medication management. Rose Hill is seeking an MSW to provide full-time clinical services in our Residential Rehabilitation Program. Candidates must possess excellent written and verbal communications skills, sensitivity for confidential information, critical thinking, and effective interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills and proficiency in MSWord and Excel are required. Accuracy and attention to detail are a must.

This position reports to the Director of Clinical Services. Duties include:

  • Provide case management services and counsel to residents in individual or group sessions to assist them in developing skills to manage symptoms of mental illness.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and record resident progress, and develop treatment plans to help residents meet their treatment goals.
  • Modify treatment plans according to changes in resident status.
  • Conduct individual and group therapy with residents.
  • Collaborate with therapists, physicians, nurses and other staff to plan and coordinate treatment, drawing on social work experience and resident needs.
  • Work with families to assist them in understanding and supporting the resident to support long term sustainable recovery.
  • Educate residents, staff and those in the greater community about mental illness, abuse, trauma, medication, or available community resources.
  • Maintain resident records to ensure regulatory compliance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $56,000.00 per year
