- Ramada Plaza Nags Head Oceanfront is looking to add an individual to our Housekeeping Staff. Bed makers play an important role in assisting our Housekeeping Room Attendants be more proficient and efficient. These individuals work with all of our staff members and genuinely enjoy helping others.
The job for the Bedmaker position entails but is not limited to:
- Stripping a room of linen and removal of all trash to "prepare" a room to be cleaned
- Making beds/changing linen
- Emptying trash from: hallways, housekeeping carts, public areas while also removing linen/towels from hallways
- Reporting any discrepancies to room attendant/houseman/maintenance
- Following our standard operating procedures
Physical Abilities:
- Must be able to lift, push and pull heavy loads (bundles of linen or carts weighing up to 50 lbs.)
- Must be able to perform physical work such as reaching, extending arms over head, bending or stooping for periods of time
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent vocational training
- Ability to communicate in English both verbally and in writing
