Established assisted living and memory care community in Brainerd, MN is seeking candidates for a Bath Aide to join our team.

Full-time and part-time opportunities available. Position includes a weekend and a holiday rotation

POSITION SUMMARY: This position will be responsible to provide direct care and related services to residents of the Assisted Living and/or Memory Care:

• Responsible to adhere to information and precautions contained in individual residents' Care Plan. Assist in the observation and recording of data as directed by the RN.
• Encourage, assist, or perform Activities of Daily Living (ADL's) including but not limited to: bathing, dressing, grooming, and nail care, incontinent and catheter care, feeding, obtain and document vital signs as directed by the RN or Care Plan.
• Responsible to report any noticeable changes in residents' physical condition, attitude, reaction, appetite, etc., to supervisor on same day of observation
• This position will also provide assistance with laundry, housekeeping and life enrichment activities
• Engage in respectful social interaction with resident, including friendly conversation and empathic support as well as respecting residents' privacy and property

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Candidate must pass a basic written competency and skills test
• Must be hardworking and dedicated to provide an exceptional caregiving experience
• Ability to maintain excellent interpersonal and cooperative relationships with management, staff, residents and residents' family
• Candidates will be subject to a criminal background study
• High school diploma/GED is preferred
• CNA is not required, prior caregiving experience is preferred

The successful candidate must have a passion for caring for the elderly, and will exhibit positive attitude and behavior while demonstrating respect for all.
