Action Youth America (AYA) is committed to creating and maintaining an orderly, fun, and safe environment where teaching and learning are exciting and students are assisted as they develop responsibility and widen their perspectives. AYA after-school programs exist to serve the unique academic, physical, and social needs of students who are in a special and critical period of their lives as they change from childhood to adolescence.
Mission: The primary mission is to provide quality after-school programming to all stakeholders through innovative practices by providing an inspiring, caring, exciting, and stimulating education.
We are seeking enthusiastic candidates who have the ability to manage and actively supervise elementary and middle school students. Our sites partnered with Montebello Unified School District. Program Leaders/ Coaches may work at any AYA program sites and receive their assignments based on their availability and AYA program needs.
Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must pass a Live Scan and DOJ
- Must be available 1pm - 6pm (M-F) during school days.
- Work with students in a 20:1 ratio setting.
- Must pass TB test
- Must have reliable transportation.

Pay: $18.00 per hour
