Bakery Assistant Job at Woodstar Cafe & Bakery

Duties include:
Scaling, mixing, and baking muffins, scones and cookies
Making a wide variety of bars, quick breads, cakes, fillings and
frostings
Cleaning, prepping and stocking

What we are looking for:
-An experienced kitchen professional who can work quickly,
accurately and independently
- A cheerful person who can bring more light to our sun-filled
kitchen
-The ability to taste and work with most ingredients typical to a
high end bakery
-The ability to read recipes in English
-The ability to work in a range of temperatures
-The ability to lift 35 pounds frequently in a range of motions and
50 pounds from floor to counter
-Impeccable references
-Excellent communication skills
-Available for 10 hour shifts Sunday through Wednesday starting
at 4:00 am

The Woodstar Cafe is located two hours west of Boston in the
vibrant arts town of Northampton, MA. We are a family owned
business serving top notch artisan breads and pastries since
2003.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
