Baker – Breakfast, Pastries, and Savory bakery goods
Full-time + complete employee benefits package
Monday – Friday 4 AM – 12 PM
Essential Duties:
- Producing baked goods to the Bethel Bakery quality standards
- Working with a variety of doughs including Sweet, Danish, Puff Pastry, Italian Bread, Pie Dough, Gingerbread Dough, Seasonal doughs, Pepperoni and Veggie Rolls
- Cutting out a variety of cookies
- Sheeting Dough, Spreading Filling, and rolling doughs to make a variety of individual breakfast items as well as coffeecakes
- Assisting in the production of hand rolling pretzel donuts and filled donuts
Requirements:
- Previous scratch baking experience and/or Baking/Pastry education helpful
- Strong work ethics, attention to detail, great attendance and punctuality, ability to follow directions
- Passion for baking exceptional products in a supportive team environment
- Physically: must be able to stand for 8+ hours, sit, bend, reach, lift a minimum of 40 lbs consistently, push/pull full cabinets, handle heat from commercial ovens and cold from walk-in coolers/freezer
- Must pass a drug and background screenings
