We’re currently looking for an Occasional Babysitter in Baldwin Hills, 90008

A lovely Baldwin Hills family is seeking a backup sitter for their easy going, high energy 6 ½ month old daughter to start as soon as possible. Care is needed intermittently, primarily for a few hours at various times when mom has an appointment, Monday-Friday between 7am-7pm. There will typically be a 24 hour notice prior to when care is needed. There is a small friendly dog in the home who might take time to warm up to you. A great candidate will understand any red flags with infants and be engaging and fun.

• Start date: ASAP
• End date/Length of Position: Long term
• Schedule: Intermittent - No guaranteed hours

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Engaging with child
• Ensuring safety of child and dog
• Driving the child on occasion- 5 mile radius maximum
• Bottle + solid feeding
• Diaper changing
• Settling child down for naps

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have a minimum of 2 years of paid/professional infant care experience as a babysitter, nanny, or daycare teacher or worker
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
• Must be UTD on infant CPR certification or willing to renew before start
• Must be vaccinated + boosted against COVID-19
• Must be comfortable around dogs
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must have a reliable vehicle

Compensation: Position pays $30 per hour

• * Gas reimbursement when driving the child
• * There are no guaranteed hours for this position as it is backup care, as needed
