Job Description:

Our shops are all about quality! We are looking for an experienced installer with a love for their trade. Someone who is motivated, has an eye for detail, capable of completing work on a scheduled deadline, while maintaining a quality finished product. Must be friendly, positive, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing the surface for a wrap: washing, clay baring, removal of badges and some parts, if necessary.
  • Ability to spot issues on a vehicle that would be problematic for the vinyl and finished product such as defects in the paint and to alert the manager or service writer.
  • Ability to remove vinyl and adhesive from vehicles without causing damage to the paint or hardware.
  • Ability to perform light body work such as wet sanding and Bondo.
  • Stripes, decals, and commercial installs.
  • Execute full and partial wraps on a wide variety of vehicles, both color-change and commercial.
  • Maintain a clean work area in a neat and organized manner.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years in a wrap shop with a concentration in color-change installation. Must be able to wrap difficult panels.
  • Strong attention to detail, the ability to discern if a panel needs to be replaced or if a film has a defect.
  • Knowledge of different vinyl brands, their characteristics, and best practices.
  • Experience in proper heating, tension, knifeless tape, and finishing techniques.
  • Knowledge of different types of vinyl and overlaminate including perforated, reflective, clear, translucent, cast, calendar, gloss, satin, matte and specialty materials.
  • Troubleshoot problems as they arise.
  • Works well under pressure with minimal supervision.
  • Team player, fast learner, and self-motivated.
  • Organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Time management skills — must be reliable & trustworthy.
  • Willing to learn new processes and take on additional responsibilities.
  • Ability to disassemble and reassemble a vehicle without supervisions is preferred but not required.
  • Experience in PPF and/or tint is a plus but not required.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Ability to comfortably and safely drive high-end vehicles
  • Excellent eye hand coordination and dexterity

  • Courteous attitude towards customers and fellow employees

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $37.00 per hour
