Position Overview:

Kemco is a leader in water recycling and thermal energy efficiency, focused on designing and manufacturing purpose built equipment. We are looking to hire an Electrical Engineer/ Automation. This role is responsible for the safe implementation of quality equipment controls on time and on budget for significant and complex client projects. This includes the development of efficient design/product standards as well as delivering custom-engineered integrated systems to meet both end-user and engineering client demands

The role is supremely focused on each today’s execution as well as developing the future of design

Specific Responsibilities:

Provide the long-term direction and strategy for the automation direction and decisions needed to support the growth of Kemco Systems.

Develop and deploy component and design standards grounded in customer expectations and best practices.

Document and standardize sequence of operations for all system types.

Planning and prioritizing testing activities

Construct the company’s automation and connectivity roadmap and implement a plan to realize it

Effectively communicate design to drafting/designers for creation of both shop and customer drawings

Support all field inquiries on technical and operational concerns

Primary programmer of PLC, HMI, VFD and SCADA systems

Functional review and quality control of electrical and controls design and fabrication

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience

A minimum of 7 years progressive engineering in manufacturing experience is required

Demonstrated field mastery of process equipment instrumentation, controls and telemetry and subsequent troubleshooting and problem solving

Working knowledge of the principles of heat transfer, combustion, flow of fluids and wastewater treatment

Excellent organizational and verbal/written skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $98,000.00 per year
