Are you passionate about improving manufacturing processes through automation and controls system design?

Do you have several years of experience designing, troubleshooting, and programming PLC's such as ControlLogix and Siemens processors?

As an Automation Engineer, you will work on a variety of projects for manufacturing clients in industries such as Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences, Food and Beverage, Discrete, Steel, Municipalities, and more. You will assist clients by programming and installing PLC's, HMI's, and VFD's, as well as working with networking components such as Ethernet/IP and ControlNet. You will also be responsible for automation and controls system design, specifications, programming, simulation, testing, as well as start-up assistance. Additionally, you will be expected to lead medium and/or large projects from inception to conclusion and perform other duties as necessary.

Job requirements

  • Technical Bachelor's degree such as computer technology, computer systems technology, information systems, or similar technical degree
  • Several years of experience designing, troubleshooting, and programming PLC's such as RSLogix500, RSLogix5000/Studio5000, Siemens Step7, Siemens TIA Portal, or a multitude of other PLC's
  • Experience designing, creating, and programming HMI screens in Wonderware InTouch, Rockwell FactoryTalk View, Ignition, or others
  • Experience working with networking components such as Ethernet/IP, ControlNet, or DeviceNet
  • Experience working with Variable Frequency Drives (VFD's)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
