Drafter/CAD Technician – Omaha, NE

We are seeking a Drafter to join our rapidly growing team in Omaha, NE.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform introductory and elementary drafting assignments.
- Assists in developing detailed design documents (civil, concrete, structural steel, architectural, etc.) to be used in construction packages using CAD software (2D and 3D) under the direction of Lead Designer, Engineer and/or Group Supervisor in the department.
- Able to work in conjunction with others in the department and with other disciplines as required that would relate to the project.
- Be able to adhere to the CAD standards and design standards as required per client and/or project.
- Willingness to learn and work on a variety of tasks.
- Willingness to travel to field as part of a team.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma, trade school or Associates Degree with adequate drafting courses.
- 1+ years engineering drafting/design experience in the Power and Industrial Industry.
- Working knowledge of at least one CAD software (such as: AutoCAD, AVEVA, CadWORX, Plant3D, Revit, MicroStation).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Must be able to understand and comply with company policies, procedures, and processes.
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be organized, self-directed, able to prioritize and multi-task, work in a team environment and take direction from others.
- Willingness to travel and work in office and field environments as necessary.
Pay Range: $20-$30hr (Depending on experience)
