Job Description


The Associate, Talent plays a key role in the day-to-day operations of the Talent team. Reporting to the Director, Talent, the Senior Associate is the first line of contact for employees and owns execution of people related process and programs. The Associate is responsible for onboarding and offboarding, general questions from employees, reviewing system data and reports for accuracy, and supporting the growth and needs of our employees. This individual should have flawless attention to detail, be highly organized and able to prioritize conflicting tasks, be comfortable with presenting, and have the maturity to handle confidential and/or sensitive information.


Role Objectives:

  • Serves as the primary resource for general employee questions and concerns regarding Company benefits, policies, and procedures
  • Functions as primary contact and escalation point for payroll and benefit questions
  • Liaises with our internal data team (The People Center) to process employee data - new hires, compensation changes, terminations, leaves, etc.
  • Owns new hire set up and onboarding. Works in concert with Finance, IT, and Facilities to ensure effective onboarding for all new team members across US office locations
  • Conducts 90 Day Check-In meetings with recent hires, summarizing meeting information, identifying trends, and escalating feedback as needed
  • Conducts Exit Interviews with leavers, asking probing questions where necessary, identifying patterns or red flags, summarizing and escalating feedback as needed
  • Runs bi-monthly employee reports and manages ad hoc reporting as needed
  • Conducts audits for data integrity and accuracy, and identifies and resolves issues as necessary
  • Oversees employee recognition program logistics, including tracking of budget and processing of orders
  • Manages new hire employee gifts and service awards, including shipment to US offices as needed, tracking of stock and liaising with vendor for orders
  • Maintains and enhances employee facing Intranet pages, as well as Talent team Box files
  • Owns content and prepares monthly employee newsletter
  • Assists Director, Talent in annual CSR data collection and submission
  • Supports the Director, Talent in the annual performance review process
  • Supports Diversity & Inclusion programs and efforts
  • Participates in community/culture committee, helping with or leading the planning of in office events
  • Pro-actively identifies areas for process improvement
  • Takes on projects as necessary relating to achievement of Talent and business objectives

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years in a Human Resources role
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work and deliver with a sense of urgency
  • Excellent written/oral communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to effectively handle many different personality types and diversity in communications styles, tailoring approach as needed to build relationships and trust
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize, organize, and distribute data
  • Strong command of Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of payroll and benefit practices
  • Exposure to employee relations and performance issues
  • Some knowledge of HRIS systems preferred
