The Associate Specialist, Corporate Social Responsibility is a tech savvy, detail-oriented self-starter who will leverage their project management and interpersonal skills to make an immediate impact and help the team meet its purpose-filled CSR program and communication objectives.


The candidate will provide critical administrative and project support as well as communications support to Colgate’s CSR Team within Colgate’s Global Corporate Communications Team:


  • Facilitate Colgate’s charitable contribution Impact Report Process:

    • Administer reporting with nonprofit partners

    • Track KPIs

    • Synthesize data and create reports with actionable insights the team can use to make even more social impact

  • Serve as Colgate’s single point of contact for the U.S. Matching Gift, Colgate Cares Grant Program, employee volunteering efforts, and own Benevity platform that powers those programs:

    • Update site with information

    • Guide internal stakeholders

    • Liaise with Benevity and Ceridian external partners as needed to ensure successful administration.

  • Administer the Colgate Women’s Games scholarship award program:

    • Payment processing

    • Communicating with award winners

  • Single point of accountability for cash contribution and product donation requests:

    • Donation processing

    • Communicating with nonprofit partners & internal Colgate stakeholders

  • Help tell Colgate’s purpose-filled CSR story:

    • Contribute to press releases, executive content, longform articles, internal communications and social posts that promote Colgate’s CSR initiatives

  • Drive Colgate’s CSR social media strategy across all platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok & YouTube)

    • Liaise with team to create visual assets, draft copy, and gain the necessary alignment with internal stakeholders and external partners in order to amplify CSR initiative.

  • Create and maintain digital files, records and databases pertaining to day-to-day business and special projects.

  • Handle all aspects of the Global Corporate Communication Team’s invoice processing, vendor management and expense reporting using various digital platforms.

  • Interact with a diverse group of internal and external contacts including employees at all levels of the organization, vendors and service providers, and nonprofit partners

  • Lend eager hand to support special projects and events including:

    • Employee volunteering and community service initiatives, such as:

      • Colgate Cares Days

      • Colgate Women’s Games Track & Field Competition

      • High School Summer Internship Program


The successful candidate will:

  • Have the ability to see projects through from beginning to end.

  • Have the ability to develop and maintain productive relationships with external and internal service providers.

  • Have the maturity to work under minimal supervision, with independent thought and independent action within assigned role.

  • Have a high degree of sensitivity and discretion in dealing with confidential matters, including First Party Data.

  • Be confident to make independent decisions regarding planning, organizing and scheduling of own time and work.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Proficiency with Google Workspace tools including Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail, Calendar, Meet, Chat, Drive, and Forms

  • Demonstrated writing abilities

  • Proficiency with social media platforms


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Payment processing experience using SAP Ariba or similar e-procurement software

  • Strong written and verbal communications

Salary Range $68,880 - $101,220 USD

Pay is based on several non discriminatory factors including but not limited to experience, education, skills and office location. In addition to your salary, Colgate-Palmolive offers a performance based bonus and competitive benefits package.
