O'Hagan Meyer is seeking an associate attorney to join the Hermosa Beach, California practice group. With a strong national presence and offices throughout the U.S. the firm offers our clients support in many different areas of law to include general litigation, professional liability, premises liability and employment law. The ideal candidate would have 3+ years of experience working in a general litigation firm.

This position would require, but is not limited to, legal research, drafting of pleadings motions and other documents, taking and defending depositions, drafting and answering discovery requests, trial preparation and trial assistance. Experience with both state and federal courts preferred.

Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to deliver strong work product is a must. This position also requires the ability to communicate with both clients and colleagues in an effective and timely manner. This position will require some local travel for court appearances, mediations, arbitrations, site inspections and depositions.

Admission to the state bar of California required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
