Overview:
We are looking for an Associate Director, Talent Acquisition to join our team. In this newly created role, you will be responsible for efforts to enhance our strategic sourcing capabilities including leading and developing our University Program Management, Early Career Program, Internship program and augmenting our inclusion and diversity recruitment efforts. (In partnership with our Director of Inclusion and Culture).

In this role, you will identify, develop, and deliver an approach to building university programs and relationships, community partnerships, and early-career recruiting that prioritizes diversity and equity. You will partner with university and alumnae representatives, community programs and partners, TA, HR and Inclusion teammates, and business leaders to develop and support efforts that strengthen Insmed's brand and diversity mission among students and other early career professionals. In addition, you will provide program leadership for the development, planning and execution of our US internship program efforts aligned to Insmed’s business needs, driving early career hiring for critical skills, building the bench and future needs.


Additionally, you will be responsible for supporting and the execution of talent acquisition’s inclusion and diversity recruitment initiatives, strategy, roadmap, and goals. While driving hiring programs for underrepresented minorities, Veterans, gender diversity and candidates with disabilities; you will execute on diversity recruitment priorities and bring multiple sourcing channels to build diverse talent pipelines and execute on referral generation, events, and sourcing campaigns.


This position will have no direct reports but will oversee partnerships with various universities, Inclusion organizations, and vendors. This role reports to the ED, Talent Acquisition.

Responsibilities:

Additional representative responsibilities will include, but not necessarily be limited to, the following:

  • Spearhead University, early career, intern, diversity and inclusion (D&I) recruitment initiatives/programs and track its progress
  • Represent Insmed at events sponsored by universities (such as information sessions, career fairs, and student organization meetings) and plan/coordinate and participate in in-house recruitment events hosted by Insmed
  • Execute full life-cycle campus recruiting (events, interviews, internship management), including serving as the primary point of contact for candidates, educational institutions, and internal stakeholders
  • Attend conferences, hiring events and partner with professional organizations, and external vendors to advance our diversity and university recruitment strategies and increase return on investment through these partnerships.
  • Build, maintain and socialize functional diversity pipelines and metrics reporting; use data consistently providing meaningful insights to inform strategies
  • Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with select diverse Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), Hispanic Serving Institutions (HSIs), Tribal Colleges and Universities (TCUs) and other underrepresented population-serving institutions.
  • Manage our yearly internship program from end to end and help establish an early career program at Insmed
  • Develop meaningful relationships with career services offices, faculty, student organizations, and administration representatives at universities and colleges.
  • Partner with internal team members to implement best practices for engaging a diverse group of early-career talent; collaborate closely with Insmed’s Employee Resource Groups and Talent Ambassadors by gathering feedback, soliciting ideas, and engaging their networks when appropriate
  • Consistently conduct and report on market research to create awareness of existing and new trends around diversity recruitment
  • Lead initiatives for our Talent Ambassador program
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 6+ years of experience developing and leading a successful University Relations and internship programs are required.
  • 2+ years of experience in supporting diversity recruitment initiatives, with experience in process improvement, change management as well as developing an ongoing communications strategy preferably in Biotech/Pharma organizations is required.
  • 3+ years full life cycle recruitment experience is a plus
  • Experience with planning and executing recruitment events (virtual and/or live) with Universities and Diversity Organizations
  • Experience building university and early career programs and establishing relationships with and diversity organizations highly preferred
  • Proven experience developing strategies based on research and data with a results-oriented mindset making informed data-driven decisions excites you
  • Solid understanding of key trends and approach to attracting diverse top talent through various sources to help build our talent pipeline.
  • Excellent client relationship, networking and partnering skills at all levels of an organization.
  • Solution-oriented, problem-solver who can identify gaps in current Inclusion and University Relations processes and suggest improvements
  • Capability to be flexible and manage multiple projects at any given time, with a sense of urgency and clear prioritization; willingness to teach others new processes
  • Ability to perform work independently and achieve results on own initiative as well as be able to work in cross-functional teams, collaboratively
Travel Requirements:
Up to 30% travel
Salary Range: Insmed takes into consideration a combination of candidate’s education, training, and experience as well as the position’s scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required in the role, and external market and internal value when determining a salary level for potential new employees. The base salary range for this job is from $135,000.00 to $188,333.00 Compensation & Benefits:
