Assisted Living Support Specialist Job at BridgeWater Assisted Living
BridgeWater is seeking an Assisted Living Support Specialist to provide staffing assistance to our BridgeWater communities. This position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with the home office team to provide temporary support and assistance, where needed, and execute a plan of filling available shifts. Travel is required to some of our BridgeWater communities, which are, Janesville, Mankato and Owatonna.
Position Responsibilities (may include):
- Administer medications and perform delegated nursing tasks
- Assists Elders with personal cares including but not limited to: dressing, grooming, bathing, hair care, eating, toileting and transfers/lifts.
- Observes Elders and report changes in status to Nurse
- Assists with on-boarding of new hired staff
- Kitchen related tasks
- Housekeeping & laundry
- Assisting with meaningful engagement & activities
BridgeWater at Mankato & BridgeWater at Owatonna are licensed Assisted-Living facilities and BridgeWater at Janesville is a licensed Assisted Living with Dementia Care facility.
Previous experience working in senior care is required and must enjoy working with the elderly population!
