Assisted Living Director Job at Laurel Parc Al At Bethany Llc
Laurel Parc, a beautiful senior living community situated in the charming Bethany Village neighborhood just north of the Beaverton/Hillsboro area seeks a Assisted Living Director to join and lead our AL care team! This leader will provide effective overall management and support functions to the Assisted Living team, to our residents and families while also maintaining regulatory compliance and ensuring resident care systems follow Laurel Parc policies and requirements.
COVID-19 considerations:
In order to comply with the Governor's mandate and OHA rules, applicants must provide proof of being fully vaccinated by their hire date, or submit an application for exemption as allowed pursuant to OHA's regulation.
Main Responsibilities:
- Conducts resident care conferences and notifies responsible party of changes in service plans as necessary.
- Reviews schedule for medication assistants and caregivers, including taking calls 24 hours a day, seven days a week, on rotation with Resident Care Coordinators.
- Tracks and manages attendance and overtime issues within budgetary requirements to ensure proper coverage.
- Reviews all physician orders and audits to ensure transcriptions are accurate.
- Conducts new move in evaluations and readmit evaluations.
- Supervises the hiring, performance and training of employees.
- Addressing employee and resident complaints and effectively problem-solves.
Position Qualifications:
Three years' supervisory or management experience in senior living or similar setting required.
