Essential Job Functions:

  • Manages all front of the house operations and inventory
  • Leverages inventory management system to continually order and receive necessary products
  • Manages eCommerce orders and ensures timely fulfillment
  • Maintains company visual standards
  • Protects company assets
  • Oversee the store’s inventories of supplies and product
  • Order product and supplies to keep store stocked
  • Handle escalated customer complaints or issues
  • Implement, review and improve all store policies, procedures and service standards
  • Create work schedules for the staff
  • Adheres to company dress code policy
  • Delegates daily operational duties
  • Enforces and follows all company policies, procedures, guidelines and programs
  • Ensures work environment is safe and clean at all times
  • Ensure all retail sales associates have the knowledge, skills and materials to answer customers’ inquiries, request of orders, and/or resolve problems quickly and effectively
  • Ensures all customers are being serviced correctly and given high priority

The Assistant Manager is accountable for the performance and profitability of their department including store operations, merchandising standards, invoicing, receiving, and ordering. All management positions are responsible for the store and the employees that work within. They effectively direct staff by coaching and motivating employees to achieve personal and store sales goals.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year management experience
  • Proven leadership experience, ability to develop and motivate a team
  • Able to resolve issues as they arise with customers and associates
  • Communicates well and effectively in a one-on-one setting and in a group setting

Physical/Environmental Demands:

Frequently stands, walks, observes, communicates and reads. Regularly moves and pushes. Counts and writes to accurately complete documentation. Must be able to: access all areas of the store including sales floor, stock area, and register area, operate and use all equipment necessary to run the store, climb ladders, move or handle merchandise throughout the store (must be able to lift and carry 40lbs) and work varied hours/days to oversee store operations. The environment is fast-paced.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
