Position Description The Department of Economics and Marketing in the Romain College of Business at the University of Southern Indiana invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Marketing position beginning in August 2023. The primary areas of teaching will be graduate and undergraduate Consumer Behavior, undergraduate Services Marketing. Responsibilities include innovative teaching in areas consistent with the department’s needs, active scholarship, and service at the program, university, and community levels. The successful candidate will be expected to teach in the undergraduate and MBA programs as needed. USI Faculty members are expected to have a strong desire for community engagement via interaction with regional businesses and organizations.

Required Qualifications A Ph.D. in Marketing from an AACSB accredited university is required. Applicants with ABD status will be considered for the rank of Instructor until degree is completed.

Romain College of Business The Romain College of Business (RCoB) is dual accredited by the AACSB for business and accounting and plays an important role in the economic and social development of the region. The College currently enrolls approximately 1,100 undergraduate business majors across eight different programs and more than 1,000 MBA students across eight concentration areas. The College houses the Old National Bank Sales Suite and the Department has a growing Sales Certificate program. The College also operates several state-of-the-art labs providing faculty access to high quality resources for teaching and research. These labs include the User Perception, Cognition, and Interaction Lab, the RCoB Cyber Security Operations Center, and the Judith A. and Robert E. Griffin Experimental Economics Laboratory.
