Assistant Manager Patient Care Services (RN Required)- Neuro Clinic- FT Days

Provides direct patient care part-time as needed.

JOB SUMMARY:

The ANM will co-manage under the direction of the nurse manager 24.20 FTES, 6 clinics, and a 12 bay infusion center. The position will cover Neuroscience off-site locations to include Green Hills, One Hundred Oaks, Franklin, and Lebanon. The ANM will assist in supporting 37 providers. Primary responsibilities under the direction of the manager includes: focused tactics for patient satisfaction, engagement of team to improve retention, standardized work in clinics, manage productivity by flexing staff, and implement strategies to support providers as we increase clinic and infusion volumes. When necessary this position will fill gaps in staffing and manage message baskets.

The Assistant Manager, Patient Care Services is a direct supervisory leadership role that is a key member of the Nursing leadership team. Leads staff members and actively participates in overall management of the area, development of clinical practice, and provision of patient care with accountabilities for implementation and outcomes for people leadership, quality, service, compliance, finance, throughput and scheduling. Ensures the unit's optimal performance by engaging in effective problem solving for staff, patients and families and to develop/lead the assigned staff. Provides feedback and coaching to staff members, recognizing them for their contributions while fostering a high performance culture. Under the guidance and direction of the manager, develops, implements and evaluates systems that promote cost effective quality patient care.

Other : Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) and 2 years relevant experience
