Assistant Field Manager Job at Brasfield & Gorrie, LLC
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities and Essential Duties include the following (other duties may be assigned): Brasfield & Gorrie, a leading General Contractor in the Southeast. A successful candidate should have experience on commercial construction projects. Depending on candidate expereince, the title for this role will be Assistant Field Manager or Assistant Superintendent.
- Assists Superintendent and/or Assistant Superintendent in administrative, compliance, procurement, building, and reporting responsibilities, as assigned
- Reviews and interprets shop drawings
- Reviews submittals and expedites materials
- Monitors production rates and schedules
- Supervises subcontractors and monitors work performance, progress, and productivity
- Supports and/or supervises work crews from excavation through punch list
- Follows company policies and procedures and assists with OSHA compliance and on-site safety enforcement
- Assists with reporting obligations
- 4-year college degree in Engineering, Building Science, Construction Management, or related discipline (or a satisfactory combination of relevant military training and/or experience in construction-related fields)
- Ability to multitask
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Superior organizational skills
