The Assistant Division Director is responsible for assisting in the overall administration and supervision of the Outpatient programs assigned. Supervises Directors, supervisors, and direct care staff as necessary. Provides on site coverage of programs as well as after hours coverage. Represents the agency/programs in the community, as requested. Responsible for assisting in the planning, developing, and evaluation of programs to meet overall organizational goals and objectives. Is knowledgeable of and follows all HR, PI, budget, contract requirements pursuant to the daily operations related to program functioning and monitors statistical information to measure outcomes and performance of all budgets. Responsible for assisting oversight in improvement efforts of programs including but not limited to level of service, QA scoring, outcomes, etc. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to any age-related needs of the consumers served. The individual demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development appropriate to the consumer population served. He or she must be able to assess and interpret data about the consumer’s status in order to identify each consumer’s needs and provide the appropriate care, including age-related care, needed by the consumer group. Includes some travel between Outpatient locations.

Education/Experience:

Master's degree with at least 5 years’ clinical experience post degree. Active LCADC and LPC/LCSW in New Jersey. Must be able to clinically supervise LAC/LSW and CADC interns. Must have 5 years supervisory experience in substance abuse program.
