Assembly Mechanic Job at Vashon Aircraft
Work with our team of mechanics to assemble our Vashon Aircraft Ranger and Mammoth Overland trailers.
Job Duties:
- Fabrication and installation of all sheet metal components, including, but not limited to wing, tail, fuselage, and other control surfaces
- Ability to use a large variety of hand tools and shop equipment
- Must have riveting experience
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized production area
- Able to read assembly instructions and complete them in an accurate and timely manner
- Assembly and fabrication of aircraft components such as seat, fuel systems, control systems, doors, and gear
- Aircraft and small parts bodywork finishing
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- At least 1 2 years sheet metal aircraft assembly
- Able to work individually and as part of a team
- High mechanical and technical aptitude
- Can read and speak English fluently
- Desire to learn
- High energy level
- Ability to multi-task
- Strong interpersonal skills

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
