As an Assembler Operator I at Houston, Texas, US, you will be trusted to perform a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables.

In this role, a typical day will include:

• Making continuity checks on work in process and completed.
• Collaborating with co-workers to meet business objectives and enhance team capability.
• Supporting training of new co-workers and sharing knowledge and experience with co-workers to develop team’s overall capability.
• Listening attentively and communicating clearly with customers, coworkers, and associates at all levels of the organization.
• May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications.
• May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.
• Following department and company safety guidelines, identifying and reporting safety hazards or unsafe behavior.

What you’ll bring to Alcon:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
• Work hours: (12 hours): Fri - Sun, 4:15 AM - 4:15 PM; Every other Thurs, 4:15 AM - 3:45 PM
• Travel Requirements: 0 – 5%
