QUALIFICATIONS:
The qualified candidate should have a Professional Educator License (PEL)
as required by the State of Illinois.
DESCRIPTION:
The Art Exhibition Coordinator manages all the show correspondence, entry submissions, publishing award recipients, show preparations, artwork hanging, and artwork take down for the various art shows, that include, but not limited to, the Art Connected Northern Regional Exhibition, the Art Connected Senior Scholarship Exhibition, the Congressional Show, Tri-County (South Shore) Show, and SWSC Festival. The coordinator maintains the South District Conference Room display (monthly), the B Building corner display cabinets (quarterly), and the permanent art collection on campus. The coordinator is also responsible for the Voyage to Excellence artwork display boards. The Art Exhibition Coordinator collaborates with the Fine Arts Department Faculty and the Visual Arts Club Sponsor as needed to facilitate artwork for exhibitions.
