American Public Defense (APD) is a licensed, insured, Family/Veteran/Minority owned security agency with sites all over Chicagoland. APD is seeking qualified candidates to serve as armed security officers at sites including residential sites and business properties. We currently have opportunities available in Waukegan, Carpentersville, McHenry, Elgin, and Algonquin.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
Enforcement of property management rules and regulations
Monitor vehicular traffic
Maintain safety and security of property
Deliver notices or relevant paperwork to tenants
Complete daily logs and incident reports
Establish and maintain communication with property management and supervisors
Job Qualifications:
All officers must have a valid PERC card
All officers must have their original firearms training certifications
All officers must own and have in their possession a firearm
All officers must have a FOID card
All officers must have a valid driver's license and social security card
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour

Education:

- Security Officer: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- PERC Card (Required)
