We are currently seeking to fill, full-time Armed Security Guard positions at the following locations:

Camp Fretterd Military Reservation (CFMR), Reisterstown MD 21136
Harve de Grace Military Reservation (HdG, Harve de Grace MD 21078
Schedule: (Three shifts: (24 hours per day, 7 days a week)

Guard Duties Include:
Provide courteous timely service continuously while maintaining control of all personnel and vehicles entering the installation
Control all personnel and vehicles departing the installation
Conduct inspections of vehicles at the designated vehicle inspection point
Perform individual identification checks
Issue visitor passes at the main entry gate/entrance foyer
Direct traffic at access control points
Perform emergency procedures for gate closure

Requirements:
Must be a citizen of the United States
Must have two years of armed security guard experience
Must meet training requirements for State-level armed security guards in the State of Maryland
Possess knowledge of procedures and experience with use of wire and radio communications
Be proficient in English the language (i.e. read, write, speak)
Must have the ability to write incident reports and statements
Possess a valid Maryland Armed Guard License
Possess a valid Maryland State weapons permit
Possess a current Red Cross or other CPR/First Aid/AED certification
Possess a valid driver’s license
Be at least twenty-one (21) years of age
Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
Must pass a physical examination; be able to lift to fifty (50) pounds, endure frequent and prolonged walking, standing, sitting, stooping, climbing, crawling, jumping, occasional running or sprinting
Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
Be trained in the use of Baton and Pepper Spray

• The base salary is $15.13 per hour.
